AutoCAD has a wide library of commands. There are many commands which used to drawing any type of drawing. Today i am going to tell you about various method to drawing ellipse in AutoCAD.
Ellipse:
Short key: EL
There are two method of draw ellipse.
1. Using the both axis length:
Method
Select ellipse tool by short key EL or by the drawing
toolbar.

Specified first axis endpoint of the ellipse by mouse click
or by actual coordinate system (x,y).
or by actual coordinate system (x,y).
Now specified end point of first axis by absolute coordinate
system (@length<angle or @x,y).

After it specified first point coordinate of second axis by
assuming the origin at center @length<angle or @x,y).

Example:
Draw a ellipse of first axis length 10 which is parallel to
X axis and other axis length is 5

Select first point by mouse click.

2. Using the center point:
Method
Select ellipse tool by short key EL or by the drawing
toolbar.

After it press C enter.
Now specified center point of the ellipse by mouse click or
by actual coordinate system (x,y)

Then specified the coordinate of first axis first point by
absolute coordinate system assume origin at center (@x,y) or by simply mouse
click.

After it specified the coordinate of second axis first point
by absolute coordinate system assume origin at center (@x,y) or by simply mouse
click.

Example:
To draw a circle whose center lies at the center of a circle
whose diameter is 5 and whose first axis length is 10 and second axis length is
16 which makes 20 degree angle with Y axis.
Solution:

select the center point of circle

Exercise:
Problem 1 : Draw the ellipse whose first axis length is 6 and it make 30
degree angle from X axis and second axis length is
degree angle from X axis and second axis length is
10.
Problem 2 : Draw a circle by ellipse command of radius 10.
